Questions about images and photos

Where can I upload photos from?

From your desktop, smartphone, or Instagram.

What size should images be?

We recommend images between 600px and 600px. Images bigger than 2000px may slow down the personalisation page, or not work at all. The image must be less than 5MB.

How do I work out what size my image is?

Don’t worry, if your image is too small or too large – we’ll tell you when you try and load it. And you’ll get to view your image on the gift before you place your order.

If I order a set, do I have to use the same image on all of the products?

No, you can create a different label for each product you order. A different label template, a different background and a different message. Button & Wilde is all about bespoke.

Can I change the colour and look of my photo?

Yes, you can crop, rotate, filter, change background, upload patterns – it’s quite a nifty little programme actually.

How do I create a gift set using one image across the set?

After you have designed your first product and added to basket, when you add the next product, a box will ask you “Do you want to use current settings for the new product?”. Just click “Yes” if you want to use the same label design, or “No” if not.
You can include up to 5 products in one set.

Can I order different gifts for different people in one order?

Yes. Just make sure you name each set so we can see what needs to be packaged together.

Can I personalise products from the gift collection?

Absolutely. And we love it when you do. Just click ‘personalise’ and follow the steps.

I'm having technical issues. What do I do?

Drop us an email, explaining what’s going on and if you can, attach a screenshot. Don’t forget your name and contact number. We’ll then get back to you as soon as we can and try to resolve it.

If I've placed my order, can I change my image?

Unfortunately, we can’t amend images once the order has been placed.

I haven't received an email confirming my order. Will I get one?

Yes, you definitely should have one. Maybe check your spam or junk folder? If it’s not there, do email us.

What should I do if I want to place a large Button & Wilde order?

If you’re thinking of an order for a special celebration like a wedding, Bar mitzvah, birthday or corporate event, we’d love to hear from you. Speak to Claire or Juliette on 01923-204845 or email us at specialorders@buttonandwilde.com. (They are not woodland creatures, just extremely helpful people.)

Questions about products and ingredients

How do I know what the fragrances smell like?

We know it is difficult to decide, and currently ‘scratch and sniff screens’ have yet to be invented! The fragrance descriptions have been written with you in mind, they are there to help you choose the right fragrance for the person you are buying for. Please be assured all of our fragrances are made with premium ingredients – so they all smell gorgeous.

Can I test/sample the products before buying?

Button & Wilde is a brand new venture and as yet we do not have any samples – though we are working on this for the future. We are holding a few Pop Up shops/events throughout the year; if you are interested contact us via FB or sign up to our newsletter, so we can keep you informed.

What ingredients are in Button & Wilde products?

Each ingredient is listed on the ingredients page of the individual product.

Have any of the Button & Wilde products been tested on animals?

You can rest assured that Button & Wilde products have only been tested and trialled by willing humans.

Where do you deliver to?

At the moment we ship to the UK and Ireland, give us a few months and we hope Button & Wilde will be branching out to other lands.

Do Button & Wilde gifts need to be signed for when they're delivered?

Gifts sent by a courier may require a signature.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before 2pm Mon-Fri are generally made and dispatched from our workshop on the same day, (excluding weekends and bank holidays). For scheduled delivery, we will work out the best time to send it to ensure arrival on your chosen date.

Questions about returns

Can I return my gift if it is no longer wanted?

Any unwanted, unopened branded product (not personalised), can be returned within 14 days from delivery. Please contact us customerservice@buttonandwilde.com to discuss. Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns of personalised gifts, unless the products are faulty.

My gift has arrived damaged, what should I do?

We are really sorry this has happened, please send us an email with a photo of the damaged product and your order no. we will promptly contact you and sort it out.
